{"id":215,"date":"2014-01-22T12:36:43","date_gmt":"2014-01-22T04:36:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mqs.com.my\/v2\/?page_id=215"},"modified":"2022-07-08T10:12:50","modified_gmt":"2022-07-08T02:12:50","slug":"careers","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/mqs.com.my\/v2\/?page_id=215","title":{"rendered":"Careers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-216\" alt=\"career\" src=\"http:\/\/mqs.com.my\/v2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/career.jpg\" width=\"588\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mqs.com.my\/v2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/career.jpg 588w, https:\/\/mqs.com.my\/v2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/career-300x102.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mqs.com.my\/v2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/career-195x66.jpg 195w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 588px) 100vw, 588px\" \/><b><i><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Senior QS \/ Registered QS \/ QS<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>In line with our expansion, we, a well established Quantity Surveying Consulting firm, are now seeking fine individuals who are dynamic, passionate about work and achievement oriented to join us.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Responsibilities:<\/i><\/b><i> <\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implementing all aspects of QS services from Pre to Post Contracts, from estimating, BQ preparation to final accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of tender, preparation of tender submission for all contractual matters, cost estimation and procurement support.<\/li>\n<li>Management of project costing including payment claims, variations and final accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Processing progress claims and variations to ensure on time submission.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Attend clients consultants meetings, site meetings and site valuations.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><i>Requirements:<\/i><\/b><i><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong analytical skill in costing, good communication skills, positive attitude, and self-motivated and have strong commitment to responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Required skill(s): Computer Literate, MS Office and Buildsoft.<\/li>\n<li>Able to manage and co-ordinate project related contractual matters.<\/li>\n<li>Must be willing to travel as and when required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ASSOCIATE QUANTITY SURVEYOR<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registered with Board of QS and or ISM member.<\/li>\n<li>Possess a recognized Degree in Quantity Surveying \/ Building equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant working experience in QS consulting firms.<\/li>\n<li>Attractive package inclusive of profit sharing and future Partnership will be offered to the right candidate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possess a recognized Degree \/ Diploma in Quantity Surveying \/ Building equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant working experience in QS consulting firms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>The Company offers an excellent remuneration and attractive fringe benefits package.
